How To Measure Yourself

Bust
With a measuring tape, measure around the fullest part of your chest.

Waist
Measure tightly around the narrowest part of your waist.

Hips
Measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Torso
Measure from the highest point of your shoulder down over the fullest part of your bust, through your legs and up your back to the starting point. If your measuring tape isn't long enough, take the measurement from shoulder to crotch, then do the same down across your back and add the two measurements together.

Sizing Tips

Each size will fit various body shapes and measurements. If you're between sizes, order the smaller size for a tighter fit or the larger size for a looser fit.

Clever Bust Support+
Our swimsuits do not come with a built in bra, wire or padded cups, yet have been designed and tested to support up to an E cup. This is created mainly by our strong-hold, thick fabric and stitching with extra support coming from our higher back. We prefer this minimalist style, however there is plenty of space available on the inner lining if you wish to sew in some cups yourself.

Recycled Plastic Waste+
Our swimwear is recycled from post-consumer and industrial plastic - certified by Global Recycled Standard (GRS) 85% polyester 15% spandex (100% polyester lining). Recycling not only helps reduce energy usage, it also helps reduce consumption of new raw materials and reduces air and water pollution from landfill and marine waste.

Ethical Manufacturing+
Our swimwear is made in a factory in China that cares about the environment and it's workers. Learn moreWe use digital printing for all our swimwear, which is one of the most ecological ways to print polyester and also print after we've cut the fabric to reduce waste. This all saves on water, ink, fabric + energy.

Packaging+
We only use compostable, recyclable and recycled materials wherever we can. We also keep packaging to an absolute minimum, using compostable paper bags and recycled plastic mail bags only when required. As of January 2019, the factory we work with also eliminated all plastic packaging in their shipments. Learn more.

Caring For Your Cozzie

Your swimsuit was saved from landfill the first time around, please help us keep the loop closed by taking good care of it and enjoying it for longer.

Wear More Wash Less:
Not only does this prolong the life of your swimsuit, but it is so much better for the environment. If exposed to chlorine, sunscreen lotion or oils, rinse your swimsuit in clean water and use a natural based detergent if needed. We don't recommend machine washing your swimsuit, as this will weaken and break the fibers. Never tumble dry or 'ring dry' (twist/scrunch), just lay it flat to dry on a clothes rack or under the sun where it will dry super quick. Never bleach, iron or dry clean your swimsuit.

Avoid Contact With Rough Surfaces:
Woven fabric bobbles when rubbed against something rough and our fabric is no exception. Although our swimsuits are durable in and out of the water, they are not coated in nasty chemicals and mixed raw fabrics so they do need a little extra care. Our fabric is woven super tight, but rough surfaces like concrete, stone and wood can all pull at the tiny fibres creating bobbling. For example sitting poolside and dragging yourself into the pool will create friction. This also goes for wearing it with rougher fabrics, for example a pair of denim shorts. Being mindful of this will help prolong the life of your favourite swimsuit.

Tackling Our Fabric-Munching Friend, Chlorine:
As a conscious choice with the environment in mind, our swimwear has not been treated with any chlorine-resistant coating or chemicals. Polyester is a hardy fabric that is generally very resistant to chlorine. Our swimwear contains 85% polyester and 15% spandex (all recycled), with the spandex being the part that gives the swimsuit it's all-important stretch. Prolonged exposure to strong chemicals such as chlorine will deteriorate the spandex over time resulting in some loss of shape. If you swim regularly in chlorinated water, here are some tips: 1. Size down - opt for a tighter fitting swimsuit to start with, this means it won't lose as much shape and as a result will last much longer. 2. Shower before you enter the pool and again straight after to dilute the chlorine. 3. Wash your swimsuit with clean water to remove all the chlorine. Resist scrunching/twist drying the swimsuit (this can weaken and break the fibers), simply wrap it flat in a towel and lay it flat to air dry at home. 4. If you swim multiple times a week, alternate between swimsuits to give each one a break.
