DO YOU SHIP TO MY COUNTRY?

CAN I VIEW THE PRICES IN MY CURRENCY?

Yes! Simply select your countries currency from the drop-down menu at the top of our website to convert the prices on our site. The prices shown in your currency are an approximate - your credit card provider/bank/paypal will determine the exact exchange rate that you will be charged. Please note; currency conversion is for reference only and all payments will be charged in Great British Pounds GBP (£).

WHAT DOES PRE-ORDER AND BACK-ORDER MEAN?

PRE-ORDER. We put brand new items that we think are going to be really popular on pre-order. This allows you to purchase the new item before it's release date and therefore be one of the first to get your hands on it. There will be an approximate shipping date in the description, which will give you an idea of how long you'll need to wait for your order.

BACK-ORDER. If a popular item is sold out, we usually put it on back-order. This allows you to purchase the item before it's back in stock, which gives you more of a chance of getting it before it sells out again. There will be an approximate shipping date in the description, which will give you an idea of how long you'll need to wait for your order.

  

WHERE ARE YOU BASED? DO YOU HAVE A SHOP I CAN VISIT?

We are based in the UK. We are an online-only store, which means we are only based on the internet. One BIG advantage of this is that you can shop with us 24/7, plus we ship to all over the world. We are not stocked in any stores and are completely exclusive to batoko.com.

 

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept the following debit/credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Paypal.

 

IS YOUR WEBSITE SECURE?

Yes, we are totally secure. We use the best secure socket layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits.

 

CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER?

We process orders really fast, so please contact us within 15 minutes of placing your order if you wish to cancel or amend it. If you would like to add another item to your order, you will need to place a separate order.

 

HAVE I BEEN OVERCHARGED?

No. By law, we cannot overcharge you and our system cannot overcharge you.

There may be 2 reasons as to why you might think you've been overcharged:

Currency conversion. If you placed your order from outside the UK and your bank statement is showing a different price, this is the currency conversion from GBP £ to your own currency. E.g. if you placed an order from the United States that totalled to £30.00 GBP and you're bank statement is showing a charge of $50.00 USD, this is actually just the currency conversion from GBP £ to USD $. We have a currency convertor situated at the top of the website, which you can use to change to your own currency at any time - this then allows you to see all the prices on our website in your own currency prior to placing your order. Please note; all payments are charged in GBP. The prices shown in your currency are an approximate and your credit card provider/bank/paypal will determine the exact exchange rate that you will be charged.

Payment authorisation. When you place an order, your bank/credit card/paypal is alerted immediately - this is the authorisation part. When we ship your order we then capture the payment - this is when the payment is officially taken. Sometimes both the authorisation and capture payments can show up on your statement, but if you look carefully only one payment has been taken (usually the 2nd). Our reason for not taking the payment immediately, is so that if we cannot fulfil your order for any reason we won't be leaving you out of pocket and you won't need to wait around for a refund.

 

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?

We send all your tracking information via email. Check your shipping confirmation email (the 2nd one) for details on how and where to track your order. If you chose the Standard Shipping option, then unfortunately you cannot track your order.

 

I HAVEN'T RECEIVED A SHIPPING CONFIRMATION EMAIL. HAS MY ORDER SHIPPED?

We will send you a shipping confirmation email as soon as your order ships. If you haven't received a confirmation email after 4 business days, then we recommend checking your spam box. If there is still no sign of it, please contact us and we will look into it for you as soon as possible.

 

CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE AN ITEM I PURCHASED IN THE SALE?

No, sorry! All items purchased in the sale are final and cannot be returned or exchanged. Items marked * are non-returnable.

 

I PURCHASED A PAIR OF ORIGINAL 501S, BUT THEY DON'T FIT. HELP!

You can return any unsuitable shorts for credit, which you can then use to purchase another pair in an alternative size. We encourage you to follow our denim size guide and to contact us should you have any sizing questions prior to placing your order.

 

HOW DO YOU PRONOUNCE BATOKO?

"BAT-OH-KOH". We like the sweet stuff in life, so we named ourselves after a cute Madagascan Plum. Random, we know. But we like it!
