The good news is our swimsuits are super stretchy and forgiving, so will fit a variety of different body shapes and sizes.

Tip: use the size guide below as intended = a guide. Remember that our fabric is stretchy so will work around the average measurements shown. If you're between sizes, order the smaller size for a tighter fit and the larger size for a looser fit. If your measurements are coming out at different sizes completely, go for your normal clothing size.

Not sure which size to get and in a hurry? You are welcome to order multiple sizes and return any that are unsuitable for a refund.

How To Measure Yourself

Bust
With a measuring tape, measure around the fullest part of your chest.

Waist
Measure tightly around the narrowest part of your waist.

Hips
Measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Torso
Measure from the highest point of your shoulder down over the fullest part of your bust, through your legs and up your back to the starting point. If your measuring tape isn't long enough, take the measurement from shoulder to crotch, then do the same down across your back and add the two measurements together.

Exchanges

Our swimsuits are made in limited batches and can sell out quickly during certain periods, therefore we've found that the most effective way to service an exchange is for you to reorder via our website and send us the unwanted item back for a refund. This should ensure that the item you want is still available and you will receive it much quicker than having to wait for your return to process.

Can't decide which size to get and need it quick? We recommend ordering 2 different sizes and returning any unsuitable size for a refund.

Your swimsuit was saved from landfill the first time around. Here's how to take good care of it, make it last and enjoy it for longer.

Wear More Wash Less

Not only does this prolong the life of your swimsuit, but it is so much better for the environment. If exposed to chlorine, sunscreen lotion or oils, rinse your swimsuit in clean water and use a natural based detergent if needed (non-bleach). We don't recommend machine washing your swimsuit as this will weaken and eventually break the fibers. Never tumble/machine dry or twist/scrunch by hand to dry, instead simply lay your swimsuit flat to dry on a clothes rack or under the sun where it will dry super quick (don't worry, the colours won't fade in the sun). Never bleach, iron or dry clean your swimsuit.

Avoid Contact With Rough Surfaces

Woven fabric bobbles when rubbed against something rough and although our fabric is woven super tight, rough surfaces like concrete, stone and wood can all pull at the tiny fibres creating bobbling. Sitting on poolside and dragging yourself into the pool will create friction, as will wearing it with rougher fabrics like denim. Being mindful of this will help prolong the life of your favourite swimsuit.

Tackling Chlorine

As a conscious choice with the environment in mind, our swimwear has not been treated with any chlorine-resistant coating or chemicals. Polyester is a hardy fabric that is already generally very resistant to chlorine in it's raw state. Our swimwear contains 85% polyester and 15% spandex (recycled), with the spandex being the part that gives the swimsuit it's all-important stretch. Prolonged exposure to strong chemicals such as chlorine will deteriorate the spandex over time resulting in some loss of shape. If you swim regularly in chlorinated water, here are some handy tips which will help prolong the life of your swimsuit:

  • Size down and opt for a tighter fitting swimsuit to start with, this means it won't lose as much shape and as a result will last much longer.
  • Shower before you enter the pool and again straight after to dilute the chlorine.
  • Wash your swimsuit with clean water to remove all the chlorine. Resist scrunching/twist drying the swimsuit  as this can weaken and break the fibers, instead simply wrap it flat in a towel and lay it flat to air dry at home.
  • If you swim multiple times a week, alternate between swimsuits to give each cozzie a break.
